Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Big Love Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

$650 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 8 weeks and 10 years
$800 - Purebred Dogs
$450 - Dogs aged 10 years and up
$300 - Cats aged 8 weeks and up

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Big Love Animal Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Big Love Animal Rescue dogs will be current up to date of adoption on their vaccines and will have the following:

Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
Bordetella
Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered (if adopting a young puppy, Spay/Neuter will be completed at a later date and will be covered by our rescue)
Micro-chipped
